Kendall Jenner is proving that Instagram, a way to share photos, can also help capture fame.
The younger half-sister to the Kardashian klan just signed a deal with storied cosmetics giant Estee Lauder to represent its line worldwide. In addition to good looks, Jenner was attractive because of the nearly 16 million fans following her @kendalljenner.
According to Bloomberg News, the “instagirl” will represent the brand in TV and print ads. She will also be responsible for creating social media content supporting the products, and the global company hopes Jenner’s massive internet following will help further sales.
Jenner follows in the footsteps of celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Elizabeth Hurley, who were spokeswomen for the famous brand in previous years. However, now the company, long a favorite for women fighting wrinkles and age spots, is attempting to reach a younger audience by bringing Jenner on board.
The brand recently released a video on its website introducing Kendall as its newest model. (Her favorites include a $30 sculpting lipstick and a blush-on glow highlighter that costs $27.50.)
But, Kendall isn’t the only Jenner grabbing headlines. Her younger sister, Kylie, spoke out about rumors of her having cosmetic work.
The Keeping up with the Kardashians star debuted a seemingly plumper pout in recent months, and her social media followers noticed the change, pointing at photos like the one below as evidence that Jenner may have had lip injections.

She has been denying the rumors since they began several months ago, but she spoke out to E! Online one final time at her Kylie Hair Kouture party last night.
"I feel like everyone has been talking about it for months, so I'm kind of sick of it," she said. "My pictures, I palp them out a lot. I think big lips are awesome."
Kylie may follow in Kendall’s footsteps soon, speaking out about wanting to share makeup tutorials with her social media followers to share her love for “lip liner and over lining” her lips.
It seems that Kendall and Kylie are well on their way to a super-stardom like their older sisters Kim, Kourtney and Khloe.
