This week’s episode starts off with a hooker running from her pimp when he catches up to her. When she’s cornered, the girl stabs Raul, the pimp, in the eye, but when he doesn’t die he snaps her neck.

Now we’re back to the Winchesters, who are sitting enjoying a steak when Dean’s phone starts blowing up. He says they’re monster alerts, but in reality, Dean has joined a dating app. Sam snatches up the phone and starts reading through the “catfish” sounding messages from Shaylene. While Sam is explaining this to Dean the real life Shaylene shows up. See Sam she is a real person.

Unfortunately for Dean though, Shaylene is a hooker and Dean has a strict “No cash for ass” policy. But Shaylene doesn’t want cash, just his soul instead. Luckily for her, the girl chose a Winchester to try and seduce with this deal and the boys quite easily catch the “demon pimp.” However, the second the pimp starts mouthing off to the hooker, she grabs the angel blade from Dean and stabs the demon. Well, that was a waste of an interrogation. Fortunately for the boys though, the pimp had some “Raul’s Girls” business cards in his pocket.

At Raul’s Girls, the red haired Scottish women that we had a glimpse of earlier in the season walks in and forces Raul to puke to death while the other demon smokes out of his meat suit. She takes the two hookers with her to a fancy restaurant and explains that she’s a witch and the grand coven hasn’t approved her to mentor students, but she would like to start her own coven and take the two girls under her wing.

Of course, the witch, Rowena, probably isn’t allowed to mentor students because her spells end with dead humans, as evident by the waiter who dies from his brains being boiled. When Sam and Dean get to the restaurant they figure out exactly who they’re dealing with and track her down, only to find her being carted off by two demons. They kill the demons, but then have to deal with Rowena sending one of the hookers after them like an attack dog. And of course, who should show up now, but Cole still trying to get his revenge on Dean for murdering his good ole Pop.

So Cole interrupts Dean capturing Rowena, allowing for her to make her retreat while Cole is surprised to find he’s face to face with a human Dean and not a demon one. So Dean goes in to explain to Cole why he killed his father. He was a moster that was killing people and stealing their livers. Even Dean’s not sure what kind of monster that is but he had to stop him in order to save lives.

As this is going on Sam has finished dealing with the attack dog hooker, who keeled over because of the spell and has his gun on Cole. Dean tells him to put it down before telling Cole he is past saving and knows how his story ends. So what does Cole do? He lets the Winchester live and returns home to his family. And please someone tell me this is not the last we’ve seen of Cole, because if that’s how that piece of the story ends then I just don’t see the point of it being included in the show other than for some filler to get us through this season.

And we also had some news on the angel side this week. Hannah’s vessel’s husband has been tracking Caroline’s (Hannah’s vessel) credit cards and finally tracked her down. The only way Hannah gets him to leave is to tell him that she is involved with Castiel and then as if to prove it kisses him. (Hannah and Cas shippers rejoice!) But instead of ending in romance for our two angels, Hannah feels guilty about stealing Caroline from her husband and she leaves her vessel to return to heaven. This of course leads Castiel to do a search on Jimmy Novak, so Castiel’s future with Supernatural is looking a little unclear at the moment.

And last but not least, Crowley’s demons capture our Scottish witch and plot twist, turns out she’s Crowley’s mum.
