Taylor Swift has made it clear she’s taking a break from the dating field after a string of failed relationships, but could The 1975’s Matt Healy change her relationship status?
The “Blank Space” singer’s last boyfriend was Harry Styles and that was a year ago. Healy has revealed, however, that they recently “exchanged numbers” and he’s hopeful something could come of it.
Swift recently opened up to E! News about her decision to stay single, explaining, “It's not that [I've sworn off dating] as much as I'm just very protective of my happiness. I found a place in my life that feels really great and I'm not willing to compromise that for just anyone."
So could Healy be that person?
During an interview with Shazam Top 20, he said Swift went to one of his concerts recently. "I met Taylor Swift, that was really nice," he said. "We exchanged numbers. Let's see what happens."
When Angus O’Loughlin joked that they might become the next big couple that everyone talks about he laughed, "You're calling that, are you? Let's just see what happens. I mean bloody hell, what am I going to do? Go out with Taylor Swift? She's a sensation, I wouldn't say no."
