The shows this week on Jimmy Kimmel Live! featured a blend of Halloween aftermath, election madness, and the CMA Awards. Kimmel brought back his infamous Halloween candy prank and welcomed guests such as Nathan Fillion, Michael Chiklis, Maya Rudolph, Julie Bowen and Nelly. The show also featured musical performances from Fall Out Boy, Kenny Chesney, Florida Georgia Line and Cobra Starship. In case you missed any of Kimmel's shows or just want a quick recap, here are the standout moments from Jimmy Kimmel Live! this week...
YouTube Challenge- I Told My Kids I Ate All Their Halloween Candy 2014
This is no doubt that this clip was a highlight moment of the week. This annual YouTube challenge is arguably one of the most talked-about recurring segments Kimmel features on his show. Ready for another year of shocked faces and temper tantrums, Kimmel challenged parents to upload a video of their kids after telling them they ate all of their Halloween candy. Though this is the fourth year the prank has been carried out, the childrens' reactions never fail to entertain.
Midterm Election Ad
If you've watched TV lately, you've probably been hit with a never-ending stream of election ads. In response to the midterm election, Kimmel created an ad that pokes fun at the different campaign advertisements. See the silly clip here:
Cousin Sal Tricks Trick or Treaters 2014
Halloween might have been last week, but Kimmel kept the spirit alive with yet another prank. This time he enlisted his Cousin Sal to mess with the children who came up to his house asking for candy. These children are a lot better behaved than the kids featured in the YouTube Challenge prank, but their responses are still hilarious.
How to Deal With Family on Thanksgiving
Now that Halloween is over, we are officially heading into the holiday season. For some, the holidays are a comforting time to see family again and to cherish being with one another. For others, not so much. In this parody commercial, Kimmel offers assistance to those dreading the inevitable family reunions that lie ahead.
Jimmy Kimmel Sleepover with Faith Hill and Tim McGraw
For the CMA Awards, Jimmy and his sidekick Guillermo traveled to Nashville and decided to take advantage of Tennessee's "southern hospitality." They went to the home of "the Beyonce and Jay-Z of country music": Faith Hill and Tim McGraw. Needless to say, the couple was slightly surprised at the unexpected visit and things got a little awkward.
3 Ridiculous Questions with Jimmy Kimmel and Brad Paisley
Kimmel has done this odd segment with other celebrity guests before, including Michael Strahan, Aaron Paul and Chrissy Teigen to name a few. Although the weird sketch might not make a lot of sense, it never fails to be funny. In this week's episode, Kimmel interviewed country singer Brad Paisley. Check out the awkward exchange here:
