Netflix subscribers can now anticipate a new Tina Fey comedy come March- Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, that stars The Office's Ellie Kemper.

According to People, Unbreakable Kimmy Scmidt will be Fey's first TV comedy since 30 Rock. The show is about a woman (Kemper) who escapes a doomsday cult and starts a new life in New York City.

Last year it was reported that Fey and Robert Cardlock were developing a new comedy for NBC, though the name of the show was not yet announced.

People reports that, although the show was originally ordered by NBC, Fey and Cardlock soon realized that Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt would be a better fit for Netflix, that is home to many original series, including Orange Is the New Black.

NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt explained that with NBC's mid-season schedule being drama heavy, everyone involved decided that the Netflix deal, "was the best possible scenario to launch this captivating new series," and that "it's an instant win-win for everyone."

Netflix has already ordered two seasons of the show, that follows Kimmy Schmidt who escapes a cult that she has been living in for 15 years. She makes an appearance on the Today show, and decides to stay in NYC, renting a room from a gay Broadway actor played by 30 Rock's Tituss Burgess.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt shoots on location in New York City, and also stars 30 Rock's Jane Krakowski, and Taxi's Carol Kane.
