The latest episode of Criminal Minds focused on an unsub who did not have any self-control when it came to her crimes due to a brain injury she suffered in a car accident. She would stab her victims and then take care to clean them up as a sign of remorse. Unfortunately, she ends up fatally stabbing her own husband before the team is able to track her down.

Meanwhile, Rossi deals with being followed by a young woman named Joy Struthers. At first, he thinks she is just another fan but then he is stunned to learn she is his daughter. Apparently his first wife had become pregnant, but never told him. He is very surprised at this information and eventually he realizes he wants to get to know her.

This episode was amazing all around and it was neat to see another aspect of Rossi’s life uncovered, especially since it is fun to learn new things about our characters. Let’s take a look at some of the moments that stood out in “Fate.”

The unsub in this episode is a woman named Ellen Connell, a woman who was in a car accident and has been going through spouts of rage that cause her to kill her victims and then feel remorse for her actions.

Rossi is driving to work when he stops for coffee and brings one out to a woman who has been following him. He thinks she is a PI and tells her to have whoever hired her call them themselves. He then tells her to keep the coffee since she doesn’t say anything about who she is.

8. Kate and Rossi

Rossi is tense after he finds out that he may have a daughter and doesn’t believe his first wife would have kept her pregnancy from him. Kate asks him what is wrong in the car, but he rebuffs her as he thinks about his ex-wife.

Rossi sees Joy Struthers in the building and goes to confront her, thinking she is some fan looking to get him to see her manuscript. But as he walks away from her, she stuns him by revealing she is his daughter.
