The Big Bang Theory last week centered on Leonard preparing to have surgery to stop his snoring. However, Sheldon is very concerned Leonard could die and tries to convince him to not have the surgery. Leonard is appreciative of his efforts to talk him out of it, but it is clear Sheldon is annoying even if his heart is in the right place.
In another storyline, Raj is excited for his parents’ upcoming anniversary, but finds out that they are getting a divorce. This causes Howard and Bernadette to think about their marriage and how they can communicate more. While the idea is good in theory, it is clear through a couple funny scenes that they have a lot of things they need to say to each other.
While not too much happened in the episode besides these two main plots, it was fun to see the gang concerned about each other and taking care of one another. We’re taking a look at the top ten moments from “The Septum Deviation.”

10. 40 years
When Raj comments on his parents’ 40th wedding anniversary, Howard mentions in a monotone voice not being able to imagine being married to someone that long. In a chipper tone, Bernadette coldly answers, “Not anymore” and Howard looks rightfully shamed. Then Raj brings up making coasters for his parents, which he did by putting his face on them and they were gifts to Bernadette and Howard too. Bernadette tells Howard he’s getting them after their divorce.

4. Cheer up muffin

3. Told you so
When Leonard is able to get surgery early, he distracts Sheldon so he can go with Penny to the hospital. So Amy drives Sheldon, who believes Leonard and Penny are at a public swimming pool, to work, but then he begins to realize that Leonard doesn’t have his swim shirt. When he realizes Amy is acting weird, he gets her to tell him the truth and tells her to drive to the hospital. When Amy says it is sweet how he is so concerned, Sheldon admits he wouldn’t forgive himself if he couldn’t tell Leonard “I told you so.”

2. Love
Bernadette and Howard decide to tell each other all the things they love about one another. Of course what this ends up doing is allowing them to tell each other all the things they love about each other, which is just them venting about the things they don’t like.

We see Penny taking a photo of Sheldon and Leonard, who are both wearing bandages over their noses. Leonard’s surgery was a success and despite Sheldon’s refusal to admit it, he knows Sheldon was worried about him because he cared.
