There are so many amazing animated movies coming out from both Disney Animation and Pixar. While Pixar may not have made the same number of films that Disney Animation has as of yet, they are known for incredible animated films they have put together for viewers.


While Pixar films are geared towards children, they have great story lines that everyone can get into. I have a family member who watches Toy Story whenever it’s on television, proving that this classic tale never gets old.

Currently, Pixar is working on some sequels, such as Cars 3 and Finding Dory, which is a sequel to Finding Nemo. While we wait for these anticipated films to come out, let’s take a look at some of the top 10 films from Pixar studios.

This cute film focuses on the life of bugs, especially an ant named Flick, who tries to gather an army of bugs in order to fight off grasshoppers who come every year to eat food from their colony. Released in 1998, this was just Pixar's second film.

The heart-wrenching tale of a widower who doesn’t want to go to a nursing home who ends up on a journey in the air with a young boy scout. Made in 2009, the film is a great film for anyone to watch and is one of Pixar’s best.

Made in 2008, Wall-E is the story about a robot whose main job is to collect waste on the abandoned planet of Earth. With the help of a robot named EVE, he fights to restore life to planet Earth after a lone plant brings hope of bringing life back to the devastated planet.

The charming tale of a clown fish father named Marlin, who goes on a journey across the ocean with a fish named Dory in order to rescue his son, Nemo, who was captured by a fishing boat. A sequel is being developed, Finding Dory, which will put Dory in the missing fish spot.

Sheriff Woody takes an instant dislike to Buzz, who becomes the popular new toy, leaving him feeling he is in the dust. It’s a wonderful tale of love, friendship, and bravery and spawned two sequels that were equally amazing.
