So much for saving A To Z. The walking dead NBC sitcom sunk to an unbelievable new low last night, which might make NBC question its decision to continue airing it.
The most-watched network on the night was, as usual, CBS, which averaged 9.87 million viewers. However, its 2.3 18-49 rating was behind ABC’s 2.8 rating on the night, notes HitFix. ABC’s ratings victory came thanks to strong numbers from Grey’s Anatomy (2.4); Scandal (3.2); and How To Get Away With Murder (2.9).
CBS did have the top-rated show of the night thanks to The Big Bang Theory, which scored a 4.5 18-49 rating. New sitcom The McCarthys also did well with a 1.6, but Elementary’s not holding up so well, only earning a 1.2.
Over at NBC, The Biggest Loser scored a 1.2, while also zombified Bad Judge earned a 0.9 rating. While A To Z ticked upward last week, the show plummeted to an embarrassing 0.6. As The Hollywood Reporter notes, Parenthood fell to a series low 1.0.
Things at Fox looked just as bleak, with Bones (1.2) and Gracepoint (0.8) staying the same. Since Gracepoint is a limited series, Fox will probably just continue running it and take the low ratings.
The Vampire Diaries and a 0.7 18-49 rating for The CW, while Reign had a 0.4.
