All four of the finalists have sung their last songs and now it is up to the votes to decide who will be the winner of season seven of NBC’s The Voice. This year’s finalist included three team members from Team Adam, Damien, Chris Jamison and Matt McAndrew and one from Team Blake, Craig Wayne Boyd.
This season featured such a wide range of talent and musical genres that it kept the four coaches, Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Pharrell Williams very busy. The best of the best competed for the title of The Voice and now tonight was to celebrate all twenty contestants and find out who would win it all.

Before the results were announced this star-studded finale featured some of the biggest name in music today and the return of all of the top twenty vocalists. Fall Out Boy, Jessie J performed along during the packed finale along with Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson singing their latest chart topping hit “Uptown Funk.”
The contestants were also able to sing with some famous musicians for incredible team up performances. Craig Waye Boyd joined forces with Lynyrd Skynyrd, they sang the bands major hit “Sweet Home Alabama.” Matt McAndrew teamed up with Fall Out Boy for their hit single, “Centuries.” Oscar winner, Jennifer Hudson took the stage with Damien singing “It’s Your World.” Closing out the celebrity teams up was Chris Jamsion with current pop sing and chart topper, Jessie J.
Before the results were announced the four coaches came together one last time to sing “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.”
The votes had been counted and after a two-hour wait. The results were announced. After much anticipation it was announced that in fourth place was Damien. Coming in third was Chris Jamison also from Team Adam. In the end it came down to Craig Wayne Boyd and Matt McAndrew. Boyd ended up being the winner of the recording contract and The Voice.
Next season will feature the return of Christina Aguilera, along with Pharrell Williams, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton as coaches. The blind auditions will kick off another round of what will likely be another impressive season of vocal talent.
