Azealia Banks is making a serious accusation against Iggy Azalea, claiming she doesn’t care about African American issues. She launched a Twitter tirade against the “Fancy” rapper following a grand jury’s decision not to indict police officer Daniel Pantaleo for killing Eric Garner.
Banks posted several tweets, calling Azalea a “wannabe black girl” and condemning the media for lumping her in the same group as Nicki Minaj.
“Its funny to see people Like Igloo Australia silent when these things happen... Black Culture is cool, but black issues sure aren't huh?” she first tweeted. “If you're down to ride with us b--ch you gotta RIDE ALL THE WAY.”
She even brought up Azalea’s mentor, who stepped in when the rapper was feuding with Snoop Dogg. “AND I DARE THAT SHOE-SHINING COON T.I TO SAY SOMETHING,” she wrote.
Azalea did defend herself, however, tweeting that she’s actually taking “productive” actions to inspire change rather than “trolling on social media.”
“Theres more to sparking a change than trolling on social media. World issues shouldnt be used as a poor excuse to promote fan battles,” she tweeted.
She also posted a link to an article that provides "5 Ways You Can Help Ferguson, Its Protesters, and Mike Brown's Family."
