Beyonce and Jay Z took their 2-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, to the premiere of Annie in New York City’s Ziegfield Theater on Sunday.
The couple met the cast and posed for photos with the film’s star, 11-year-old Oscar nominee Quvenzhane Wallis, who shot to fame in 2012 after her breakout role in Beasts of the Southern Wild.
Us Weekly reports Jay Z was spotted leaving the theater carrying their daughter in his arms.
Jay Z is a producer on the project and was also involved in the film’s soundtrack. It also stars Cameron Diaz, Jamie Foxx, Rose Byrne, and Bobby Cannavale and will hit theaters on Christmas Day.
Will and Jada Pinkett Smith are also credited as producers on the remake of the musical.
Blue has grown since her appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards in August, during which she helped Jay Z present her mother with the Video Vanguard Award. Beyonce also just became the female singer with the most Grammy award nominations with 47.
