Judy Huth, who is suing Bill Cosby and claims that the comedian sexually assaulted her at the Playboy Mansion in 1975 when she was 15, now says she has two witnesses to back up her story.
Huth filed the lawsuit back on Dec. 1 in Los Angeles, where she claims the incident took place. Cosby’s attorney, Martin Singer, responded by filing a motion to have it dismissed. Singer claims that Huth tried to blackmail Cosby in the past, which would prove that this is not a repressed memory.
By claiming that it was a repressed memory, Huth is able to file the lawsuit four decades after it happened. However, Singer claims that the fact that she tried to blackmail Cosby and tried to tell her story to a tabloid 10 years ago prove that the suit should be dismissed.
According to the Associated Press, Huth’s attorney, Marc Strecker, filed papers in Los Angeles Superior Court Friday, saying that he saw photos of Huth at the Playboy Mansion with Cosby at around the time the alleged abuse took place.
The filing also says that Huth has two witnesses who could back up Cosby’s story, but doesn’t give further details on who these witnesses are.
Cosby’s wife, Camille Cosby, issued a statement yesterday, slamming the media for its coverage of the claims and giving the accusers a “pass.”
