Bill Cosby is still set to perform at the Tarrytown Music Hall in New York Saturday, but he will give anyone who doesn’t want to see the comedian amid the mounting rape allegations he faces a refund.
The Journal News reports that the Music Hall box office sent an email back on Friday to anyone who bought a ticket. They said that the Cosby Show star’s management will refund any customer that doesn’t want to attend the show.
Cosby is still scheduled to perform two shows at the venue on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 4 p.m. and 7:40 p.m. Music Hall executive director Bjorn Olsson wrote on Facebook earlier last week that if the shows were cancelled, the venue would have to pay a $100,000 penalty, which it could not afford.
Cosby performances in Las Vegas and Tucson, Arizona have also been cancelled, although he did perform in Melbourne, Florida on Nov. 21.
The rape allegations Cosby is facing from over a dozen women have derailed his comeback attempt, with his new NBC project cancelled and a Netflix special delayed indefinitely. UMass Amherst even cut its ties with their famous alumnus.
Cosby’s attorney, Martin Singer, has repeatedly denied the allegations, although Cosby himself has not issued a response yet.
