The Buffalo Bills announced that the team will no longer play one game a year at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada.

The Bills' website stated that both the team and Rogers Communications agreed to terminate the deal.

"We greatly appreciate the support we've received over the past seven years from all of the tremendous people at Rogers Communications," team president Russ Brandon said.

"We will continue to work hard to solidify our footprint in Southern Ontario. Our fan base in this region remains extremely important to our organization and their support has been well-documented."

ESPN noted that the Toronto series, which began in 2008 and continued until 2013, did not have strong attendance numbers in Canada.

Keeping all eight homes games is good news for fans in Buffalo who were in limbo for quite some time wondering if the team was going to move up North.

After owner Ralph Wilson died in March, there were rumblings that the franchise was going to be sold to a group that planned to move it to Toronto. However, once Terry Pegula reached an agreement to purchase the team in September, he assured fans that the Bills would remain in Buffalo. And now, they don’t even have to worry about making the 100 mile journey over the border to see their team play once during the season.
