Demi Lovato has been an outspoken and inspirational influence after her stay in rehab to recover from an eating disorder and self-harming behaviors. Lovato has always been open about her recovery and is now crediting Wilmer Valderrama with helping her overcome her eating disorder.
The "Neon Lights" singer left treatment back in 2010 but in an interview with Fitness Magazine Lovato said that she was still working through issues with bulimia in 2013.

"It was difficult. I almost went back to rehab for my eating disorder last summer," explained Lovato. Valderrama noticed that Lovato was focusing on her food and struggling with her disorder. He talked with her about it and helped with her recovery. "Which was a relief. I was done being afraid of food and so tired of overeating and not knowing why I did it," said Lovato.
People reported that the couple have been dating on and off since 2010 but the couple is extremely private. Lovato has been opening up more about her relationship and has been open with fans about it on social media, posting pictures of the couple together.
