Demi Lovato is getting candid in her latest interview.

Lovato opened up in an interview with Allure magazine and discussed her skin regimen, why she praises Kim Kardashian, and what makes her feel confident.

A fresh-faced Lovato posed for the magazine spread with a very minimal amount of make-up and also rocked some edgy clothing. "What makes me feel sexy is being able to rock no makeup wherever I go. Also, wearing pants that showcase my beautiful assets. It's my butt. I love my butt. Hopefully it stays that way, cause this ain't going anywhere,” the "Neon Lights" singer admitted.

Even though the former Disney star has recently built up her self-confidence, she didn’t always feel that way. Lovato has been very honest with her fan base about the daily struggles she faces and admitted in the past that she suffered from eating disorders and self-harm battles. The star checked into rehab in October of 2010 and has since been on the road to recovery. "I really started to accept my body when the trend started becoming less about super skinny models that was completely unattainable for anybody to have," she admitted.

Lovato even gave recognition to a reality television star that she believes started a new trend about embracing and loving your curves. “Kim Kardashian, say whatever you want about her, but she has revolutionized what's accepted with curves nowadays,” she explained.

The singer and actress, who is extremely dedicated to her daily skin regimen, recently launched a skin care line called Devonne by Demi. "We wanted today to be super natural, show my skin, show my freckles,” she explained about her look for the photo shoot. She added, "I do have a regimen and I stick to it. No matter how tired I am, I always take my makeup off before I go to sleep, I always wash my face, use a toner, sometimes a serum if I need some extra love. Then I wear a really thick night cream. I just listen to my skin."
