Cats certainly have the upper hand on the Internet, but dogs will not be denied. They are cute too, especially while wearing a Santa Claus outfit and cruising on a Roomba robot.
Yes, you read that right. One of the top viral videos this holiday season was posted by YouTube group The Big Shift back on Monday. It shows an adorable Boston Terrier sitting on a Roomba with “Dónde Está Santa Claus” by Augie Rios playing in the background. The guys filming the clip are heard laughing as the dog glides around the room.
The video has garnered over 970,000 views.
Roombas and pets have a history together, at least on YouTube. A popular clip posted back in 2009 shows a dog getting scared by one of the cleaning robots.
Then there is the immortal 2012 classic “Cat in a Shark Costume chases a Duck while Riding a Roomba.” That video has earned over 7.5 million views since it was posted. Oh, and it’s still hilarious and weirdly surreal.
