Drew Barrymore has a very lax attitude about losing the weight she gained while pregnant with her daughters; Olive, 2, and Frankie, 8 months.

Like most mothers in Hollywood, their bodies bounced back right away. The Blended star admitted that’s just simply “not my experience.”

At the Refinery29 L.A. Holiday Party, Barrymore told People, “It took nine months to build. It should take nine months to get off. I wanted fettuccini alfredo. I didn’t want a barbell.”

There are mothers who took a different route, but Barrymore isn’t interested.

“I was like, ‘Don’t talk to me about how fast and fabulous you are or it came off.' That was not my experience. I’m having to work my ass off until I even think about getting it off,” she said.

Barrymore’s main focus these days is motherhood, but she also has a cosmetics line called Flower Beauty she’s working on while she sort of pushes acting aside.

"The acting has to be less and less because it’s too time-consuming. I love it and I don’t want to abandon it, but it can’t be at the forefront right now,” she said.

Barrymore and husband Will Kopelman welcomed their second daughter in April.
