Los Angeles police are investigating a murder/suicide involving rapper Earl Hayes and Vh1 star Stephanie Moseley. Boxer Floyd Mayweather reportedly saw the incident on FaceTime, since he was talking with Hayes at the time.

A SWAT team responded to a call at a residential complex, where they found the bodies of Hayes, 34, and Moseley, 30. The LAPD told KTLA that the early investigation shows that Hayes shot Moseley and then turned the gun on himself.

The incident happened early Monday morning. An individual called police, reporting that she heard 10 gunshots and a woman screaming around 7:30 a.m. Police arrived before the final two gunshots, which were heard from behind the bedroom door. A SWAT team came in and found their bodies inside.

Sources told TMZ that Hayes called Mayweather on FaceTime, angrily claiming that Moseley, his wife, was cheating on him. Hayes told Mayweather he was going to kill the Hit The Floor star, but the boxer tried to talk him out of it.

Floyd hasn’t revealed exactly what he saw, but what he did see has left him in shock. He did tell TMZ’s sources that he heard everything.

“VH1 and the the entire Hit the Floor family send our thoughts and condolences to her family and friends in this difficult time,” Vh1 said in a statement, adding that they were “incredibly saddened to hear the news.”
