It seems Azealia Banks’ feud with Iggy Azalea has spurred hackers threatening to leak Azalea’s sex tape if she doesn’t apologize to the rapper. There’s no indication of Azealia’s involvement, if any.
A Twitter handle called @TheAnonMessage posted the threat on Saturday, saying the “Fancy” rapper has 48 hours to apologize in light of their feud. The hackers also ask her to apologize to protestors involved with the #BlackLivesMatter movement that coincides with Eric Garner and Michael Brown’s deaths.
"MESSAGE: @IGGYAZALEA, you have exactly 48 hours from now to release a statement apologizing to @AzealiaBanks and the protesters in NYC..." the account, which has since been suspended by Twitter, wrote.
Vulture has screenshots of the rest of the messages, which accuse Azalea of “misappropriating black culture, insulting peaceful protesters, and making light of” Garner’s death.
The hackers also claim there’s much more they can reveal to the public about Azalea than the alleged sex tape, which Azalea has denied since the start.
“There's an X rated tape of you, we bet you'd certainly don't want public, are we right? @IGGYAZALEA....and this is nothing. Comply or else,” they wrote, adding, “We have so much sh-t on you, your scandal would be bigger than Bill Cosby's.”
