Jennifer Aniston has been hounded by the media for not having children for years and frankly, she’s sick of it. The pregnancy rumors started all the way back to when she was married to Brad Pitt and they continue now during her engagement to Justin Theroux.

During an interview with Allure, she admitted that after all these years, the misconceptions that come with that territory still make her a “little tight in my throat.”

"I don't like [the pressure] that people put on me, on women — that you've failed yourself as a female because you haven't procreated. I don't think it's fair," she explained. “This continually is said about me: that I was so career-driven and focused on myself; that I don't want to be a mother, and how selfish that is."

She also talked about her recent recognition for Cake, for which she’s nominated for both SAG and Golden Globe awards, saying it’s “sexist” that she had to change her entire persona to get the appreciation.

"A woman going physically unattractive is where you get recognition and some sort of respect. You read things like, 'Oh, finally, she's acting!'" she said. "Quite sexist, to be honest, because men don't get that."
