Jennifer Lopez is on the cover of Self magazine and she discussed her feelings when it comes to people calling her a cougar and dating after heartbreak.
According to E! News, Lopez explained in an interview that the idea of dating a younger man leaves her perplexed over why it ends up being a talked about subject in the news. “Enough with the chliches about women. We can date younger guys. It’s no big deal.”
Lopez has been married three times and her exes include Casper Smart and Marc Anthony, with whom she has two children. In speaking to the magazine, Lopez also talked about how she would reflect on her break ups in order to try and avoid mistakes she had made.
“People do things differently. Some go out and party and sleep around, but that’s just not my way. I found the comfort in someone else. That’s called being a love addict.
Self reported that 2015 will be a big year for the singer, as she is teaming up with BodyLab, a health and fitness company, in order to create a healthy program for women that focuses on recipes, ways to be healthy, and trackers for exercise and calories.
The actress and singer also has an upcoming role as a detective in a new show called Shades of Blue and she has two movies that will be coming out.
Lopez will grace the newsstands for the magazine on Dec. 23 for the January 2015 issue.
