Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge made a surprise appearance at the Beaver Scout colony in Anglesey, North Wales on Tuesday night and as usual, her outfit is making headlines.
However this time her outfit is making headlines for a different reason. The usually polished and primped royal wore a hoodie for her outing, paired with black jeans and black boots.
She visited to support the “Better Prepared” campaign and helped the scouts try to earn new badges, participating in activities such as icing a cupcake blindfolded.
Daily Mail reports when she arrived at the Old Ford Primary School in Bow, one of the older kids yelled “Oh my God, it's Princess Kate.”
When she left, the colony leader, Carlos Lopez-Plandolit, said, “It was amazing. She's really spontaneous. She's naturally gifted with children. I think she had a great time.”
The Duchess, who’s five months pregnant with her second child, again broke out of the norm last week during her trip to New York, where she was met with a woman who yelled at her to “keep wrapping!” while she was helping kids at a child development center wrap Christmas gifts. She gave an epic eye roll that will surely stay a topic of conversation for years to come.
