Lindsay Lohan has revealed she has contracted a virus while vacationing in French Polynesia following her 2-month West End stint in Speed-the-Plow.

She’s been posting tropical photos from the vacation with her friend Patrick Aufdenkamp and keeping her fans updated on her illness.

Lohan posted a photo of herself on a jetski on Instagram, and on Twitter she captioned it, “Before I got chikungunya,” telling her fans to wear bug spray.

She captioned the next photo, “In good faith with good people. I refuse to let a virus effect my peaceful vacation.”

Page Six notes the illness has side effects of fever and joint pain and it’s contracted by mosquito bites. There’s no cure for chikungunya, rather she will have to find ways to relieve the pain and reduce the fever.

Lohan, 28, revealed she would be moving to London for the foreseeable future even after her stint on Speed-the-Plow has ended.

“I needed to grow up and London is a better place for me to do that than anywhere else,” she said. “I haven't heard myself mentioned on TV since I have been here. That has been really weird for me, and great."
