ABC’s Manhattan Love Story, the first new show cancelled this fall, has a bit more life. The show’s unaired episodes will be seen on Hulu.
Manhattan Love Story only got through four episodes before it was cancelled back in October. However, as The Hollywood Reporter notes, seven more episodes were produced by ABC Studios. These episodes will be up on Hulu weekly on Thursday, but only to Hulu Plus subscribers.
The series stars Analeigh Tipton and Jake McDorman as a couple falling in love in New York. Creator Jeff Lowell’s hook was that the audience got to hear the couple’s thoughts during their dates.
However, few viewers cared and its fourth episode only drew a 0.7 18-49 rating. At that point, ABC had no choice but to cancel it because that lead to an all-time low for Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD after it.
Manhattan was paired with Emily Kapnek’s Selfie, which was also cancelled. Unaired episodes of that show are also available on Hulu.
Hulu has stepped in to show unaired episodes of ABC shows in the past. The streaming service posted the rest of Don’t Trust The B---- In Apt. 23’s second season after it was cancelled last year.
