The Rockefeller Plaza Christmas tree lighting ceremony drama surrounding Mariah Carey is heating up, with the singer blaming the tech team from the event for leaking the isolated vocal tracks that have gone viral.

As we previously reported, Carey missed the pre-taping on Tuesday night, reportedly keeping the production crew waiting three hours for her to show up before packing it in.

She later tweeted the incident was “beyond my control,” with rumors stating it was a heated phone call with her lawyer over divorce proceedings from estranged husband Nick Cannon that kept the crew waiting.

Carey has since been ripped apart on social media for the performance, with many fans disappointed that it wasn’t up to the standards we’ve come to know from the veteran singer.

Sources now tell the Daily News’ Confidenti@l that Carey believes the production team leaked the isolated vocal recording, which shows her struggling to hit notes, as “punishment” for missing the taping.

"It's really hard to leak 'just' audio," said a source. "Mariah is blaming producers for leaking her audio track. She believes they did it to punish her for not showing up to taping the day before the live event!"

Her reps have insisted “She preformed beautifully," and anyone from the concert could've been responsible for recording her vocals.
