Mel B, former Spice Girl and TV personality, took to her Instagram account to dispel rumors that her marriage was in trouble. Mel B posted a picture of her family enjoying Christmas which featured both her and her husband.

News Net 5 reported that she gotten into a heated argument with her husband, Stephen Belafonte which resulted in him seeking legal action.
In the photo the family looked happy and featured Mel B holding her youngest children. The captain on the post read; 'Have a merry Christmas! #familytime #funday'.
Daily Mail reported that one of Mel B's daughters, Phoenix, also took to her Instagram account and defended her step-father. She uploaded a picture of herself and Belafonte enjoying time together. Phoenix wrote "Can everyone just chill he didn't hit my mom don't know how that stupid rumor came up."
This is not the first time that Belafonte had to defend himself over social media regarding his relationship with Mel B. After she appeared on X Factor with what appeared to be bruises, he took to Twitter to explain that he had never hit his wife and called out those who started the rumors.
