Michelle Williams has sold the home she once shared with her ex-fiance Heath Ledger in Brooklyn, New York for $8.8 million.
They bought it together in 2005 for $7.5 million. When he died in 2008, she continued to live there with their daughter, Matilda.
E! Online reports it was actually listed for $7.5 million in September but she go much more than she bargained for.
Williams sold the four-story home because she’s relocating to Los Angeles after wrapping her stint on Broadway in Cabaret last month.
6sqft reports the home also includes a three-car garage, six bedrooms, a temperature-controlled wine cellar, radiant heat floors and lots of outdoor space on the landscaped rooftop. It’s located in the Boerum Hill neighborhood.
Williams reportedly wants to move to Los Angeles to focus more on film. Her latest film was Suite Française, also starring Wolf of Wall Street’s Margot Robbie, Sam Riley and Matthias Schoenaerts.
It was rumored that Williams moved out of the townhouse in 2012 when she was dating Jason Segel, whom she’s since split from.
