Miley Cyrus is the latest to join Chelsea Handler, Cara Delevingne, Rumer Willis, Scout Willis, Lena Dunham, and Liv Tyler in supporting the #FreetheNipple campaign.
Miley posted an uncensored photo on Instagram yesterday, with the caption "Some lame ass deff gonna [flag] that but f--kkkkkkk it. #practicewhatchupreach #FreeTheNipple #FreedatShit."
It has, of course, been removed. But there are plenty of screen shots out there, as seen on E! Online and Gossip Cop.
Miley has previously stated in an interview with BBC Newsbeat that, "Guys get to show their titties on the beach, why can't we ... I don't understand the double standard of life."
The Free the Nipple campaign is a movement to allow women to be topless, as well as breastfeed, in public without legal repercussions worldwide. In the U.S. it is illegal in 35 states for women to be seen topless, and according to FreeTheNipple.com in Louisiana an arrest could lead to up to 3 years in prison and up to $2,500 in fines.
