Miranda Lambert wants her fans to know that losing 20 pounds is definitely a confidence booster, but it does not define her.

The “The House That Built Me” singer, 31, graces the January 2015 cover of Marie Claire and talked about slimming down.

"When you have to walk out there in front of thousands of people, it does feel good to know that your s—t’s not jiggling,” she admitted.

She went on to say, “I’m just like anybody else, insecure and scared of looking bad or being criticized. But everybody's making this big, giant thing about it. It's way too much focus on women's bikini photos, and I hate it. Why do we care? I want women to love themselves whatever they've got going on."

She also talked about her marriage to The Voice mentor and fellow country star, Blake Shelton, saying that being married is “the best.”

She emphasized their opposite outlooks on life, which balances them out.

"I'm not sunshine and roses,” she said. “Blake's the happiest person on the planet. He pulls me out of my darkness … Literally, everything is the best about being married."

The couple recently sat down for separate interviews with 60 Minutes. Shelton explained, “We try so hard to keep people's focus on what we do and not our marriage.”
