Amy Adams’ Today Show interview was canceled after she refused to discuss the Sony Pictures’ hacks, which she was part of.

Part of the hacks revealed she was paid less than her male counterparts in the film American Hustle - Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper, and Jeremy Renner - a subject producers were keen on discussing during her segment.

After going back and forth about which questions she would accept, she reportedly "cancelled at the last minute,” a source told Daily News’ Confidenti@l.

Adams actually made it to the studio before pulling the plug on the interview. A source said she “got aggressive” while defending herself against a topic she did not want to discuss on air.

A rep for NBC confirmed, "As a news program, the Today show doesn't allow guests to put restrictions on interviews. In this case, after hours of discussion we felt uncomfortable with the demands being made and we determined the best course of action for all parties involved was to cancel the interview."

Adams was there to promote her latest film Big Eyes. A rep for the Weinstein Company, which distributes the film, told Us Weekly they “firmly stand behind” Adams in this scenario.

“We’ve been lucky enough to have had her talents grace several of our films. We are certain her fellow actors and directors would all agree, she is nothing but the consummate professional both on and off set,” the rep said. “Amy decided to speak up for herself and express her disappointment that Today would feel the need to ask her a question she did not feel comfortable, and rather than respect her opinion or continue the discussion, the reaction was to pull her appearance from the show."
