Monaco’s Princess Charlene is gushing about her newborn twins, Gabriella and Jacques, since giving birth two weeks early on Dec. 10.
Speaking to the French magazine Paris Match, the first-time mom, 36, said she was “overwhelmed with emotion” when meeting them for the first time, saying she’s “crazy in love with them.”
"A very protective instinct was born in me at the same time," she said. "Seeing them grow is marvelous. It changes lives forever."
As we previously reported, the twins’ full names are Prince Jacques, Honoré, Rainier and Princess Gabriella, Thérèse, Marie. Princess Charlene and Prince Albert’s children will become the Countess of Carladès (in Auvergne) and the first in line to the thrown.
She continued to tell Paris Match that “they've already changed. Their faces are constantly evolving.”
"It's difficult to say now which of us they resemble the most,” she continued. “What I can tell you is that they are both very active and very expressive. They are beautiful, adorable – I'm crazy in love with them."
