Comedian and musician Reggie Watts has been picked as the bandleader for The Late Late Show, once Into The Woods star James Corden takes over in March. CBS also announced the full major production team on Friday.

CBS has hired former The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon supervising producer Rob Crabbe to serve as Corden’s executive producer. He also worked with Fallon on Late Night, The Late Show with David Letterman and Last Call with Carson Daly.

The head writer is Mike Gibbons, who co-created Comedy Central’s Tosh.O. He is also a late night veteran, working with George Lopez, David Spade and Craig Kilborn in the past. He’s also served as a writer on Emmy and Oscar ceremonies and won a Daytime Emmy in 2006 as a supervising producer on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Sheila Rogers, another Letterman veteran, was named supervising producer. Josie Cliff, who manages singer Robbie Williams, will be a producer.

Lastly, comedian, musician, improviser and beatboxer Watts will be the show’s bandleader. He’s best known as a star on IFC’s Comedy Bang! Bang! and appeared in Late Night and Conan.

Corden takes over the Late Late Show on Monday, March 23. Craig Ferguson’s final show is on Dec. 19.
