Now in their 26th season, the only thing keeping The Simpsons fresh is their couch gags, which everyone from Banksy to Guillermo Del Toro have helped put together throughout these recent seasons. In time for their impending Christmas episode, they stepped up to the plate and pushed as many snow-themed references they could fit in their episode opener, and that of course includes a Frozen parody.

The clip came from the Animation Domination YouTube page. The couch gag, titled "The Couch Gag Before Christmas" and airing this Sunday in their latest episode "I Won't Be Home for Christmas," begins with the traditional opening actions of the show, with Bart in detention, Homer coming home from work, Marge getting groceries with Maggie and Lisa ditching her band ensemble, but fills it with a boatload of Christmas activities. Bart now writes "Reindeer Meat Does Not Taste Like Chicken" on the board, all while dressed as one of Santa's Helpers, while Homer seeks a candy cane in his back and Marge buys gifts for the holidays.

This all leads up to the "Obligatory Frozen Reference," where Lisa is, of course, Elsa, while Homer plays everyone's favorite snowman: Olaf. When Bart is skateboarding back home, make sure you have your hand set on the pause button so you can catch the sight gags that swim past the screen in seconds.

Of course, this is only the second best couch gag the cartoon show has pulled off this season, but it's hard to top Don Hertzfeldt's incredible opening from the season premiere "Clown in the Dumps."
