Beyonce’s sister Solange Knowles has picked a side in the Iggy Azalea-Azealia Banks feud, which was reignited on Thursday after a radio interview Banks did on Hot 97.
As we previously reported, Banks broke down in tears during the interview, during which she slammed Azalea for categorizing herself as a rap/hip-hop artist and not a pop artist.
Knowles took to Twitter after Azalea went off on Banks, calling her “poisonous” and a “MISERABLE, angry human being.”
“Thank you @AZEALIABANKS,” she wrote. “Signed......a music fan. A black girl.”
Banks was pleased with the support, retweeting it and continuing on with her point in the arugment.
“Do you see how much of a general attack on me there is personally JUST BECAUSE i am a black woman speaking about things that matter to ME,” she wrote. “I feel bad for White People and White Guilt. One day you all will succumb to yourselves. And i will be flying above in the skies to Watch.”
