Stephen Colbert is nearing the end of his run as host of Comedy Central’s Colbert Report and plans to go out with a bang. The comedian is taking his show to George Washington University in Washington next week and will finally chat with President Barack Obama.

Colbert announced back on Monday that he will be hosting a one-night only episode in Washington. It’s a special episode he calls Stephen Colbert Presents: Mr. Colbert Goes To Washington, DC Ya Later, Legislator: Partisan Is Such Sweet Sorrow: A Colbert Victory Lap ‘014. (Yes, that’s quite a mouthful.)

He plans on seeing all the sites, including “Mega Lincoln” and the “giant toothpick.” It will also be a “star-studded evening, because I am a star... and a stud,” he said.

But seriously, one of the guests will be Obama, who Colbert - or at least his Report character - has been critical of in the past. He’s really looking forward to interviewing a man who sat down with “Papa Bear” Bill O’Reilly.

Colbert said that tickets are already sold out, so viewers will have to reserve a seat in your living room now.

Only eight episodes remain of the Report. Next year, he takes over the Late Show from retiring host David Letterman.
