Susan Boyle, the singing sensation that stunned Simon Cowell on her viral Britain’s Got Talent audition, has her first boyfriend at the age of 53.
She wouldn’t give away too many details and definitely didn’t give up his identity, but she did say the relationship is in its early stages.
Boyle told The Sun she met him after a show during her U.S. tour and that he’s a doctor. She called him a “perfect gentleman” and a “very nice guy.”
"It's very early days so we'll see what happens. I hope he comes over,” she said. "I don't want to say any more about who he is right now as that would be unfair on him. All I'll say is we are around the same age and he was a very nice guy.”
The Mirror reports Boyle, who confessed on her 2009 audition that she had never been kissed, said her new love interest would be visiting her Scotland home soon. She returned home this month after a six-week tour in support of her sixth album Hope.
She did have a kissing scene in the film The Christmas Candle, which she called “lovely.”
