The moment the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer hit the web a week ago today, the Internet lit up with parodies and jokes about it. Some have been inventive and have even gone viral themselves.
The real trailer was released last week, giving fans a small taste of what they will see in December 2015. It only lasts 88 seconds, but it shows off some of the new actors - John Boyega, Oscar Isaac and Daisy Ridley. Director J.J. Abrams did squeeze the Millennium Falcon in there, so there was a nostalgic nod to the past.
We also saw a new villain and his three-pronged lightsaber. It’s not as cool as Darth Maul’s two-bladed saber, but still pretty cool.
Without any further delay, let’s get on with some of the best trailer parodies we’ve seen so far.

Disney owns Star Wars now, but they didn’t make Abrams throw in random Disney images. Now, imagine if they made him put Goofy faces on the stormtroopers.

We can only hope that Mel Brooks will be around long enough to make a real Spaceballs: Episode VII.
