Okay, readers, we are just one more episode away from finding out who killed Danny Solano. So far, fingers have been pointing to everyone from Susan to Detective Miller’s son, Tom, and even Mark Solano’s co-worker, Vince.
With so many twists and turns in this latest episode, it’s hard to pinpoint exactly who the killer is. In this episode, Susan claims she saw Vince lay Danny’s body out on the beach, but is she telling the truth? We also discover what happened in her past and how she is connected to Vince.
On the flip side, after his boss and Ellie find out about Carver’s illness, he has 24 hours before he will be taken off the case, especially since he collapsed after running after a suspect at the Harvey Ridge house. Carver also finally tells Kathy and Owen what really happened back in Rosemont. We also find Paul giving Carver the laptop that Tom tried to destry.
The Solano's are still dealing with everything going on around them, especially with Beth’s upcoming ultrasound and Mark’s increasing uneasiness about Paul Coates, though Beth tells him that she is focused on them and not him.
The case is coming to a close and soon enough, we will finally discover what happened to Danny and who was involved. 10. Paul and the laptop
After catching Tom trying to destroy his laptop, Paul took his laptop from him, but didn’t give it back. Tom goes to Paul to try and get him to give it back, even threatening to tell the cops that he hit Danny. Paul doesn’t let this threat sway him and instead, he calls Carver to give him Tom’s laptop.

Beth goes to see Paul to talk to a friend about the upcoming ultrasound. She is scared to bring a new baby into their world of sadness and she’s confused about her feelings. Paul gives her a hug, although the way he holds her seems to show some feelings for her she’s not aware of, or not focused on.

8. Vince’s arrest
Vince is arrested after Susan tells police she saw him putting Danny’s body on the beach. While at the house, the police also discover Susan’s dog is there unharmed.

7. Smoking
During Ellie’s interrogation of Susan, we discover Susan went down to Danny’s body and smoked instead of calling for help. She apparently didn’t want to get involved in what was going on. We also discover her past, in which her husband had molested her daughter and gotten killed after he tried to go for her younger sister. Susan claimed that she had no idea what was happening. Then she became pregnant and her son was taken from her because of everything that happened. The baby was apparently Vince.

6. Ellie’s sister
Ellie’s sister has been using information about Danny’s death as leverage to get her sister’s help with rent money. When Ellie gets the money to her, she discovers that her sister saw a van used for Mark’s company parked near the area where Danny was possibly killed. This implicates Vince as being in the area.

5. Mark and Beth
Mark sees Beth running back home from Paul’s apartment and he is frustrated that she is going to him, especially considering he feels Paul is trying to get closer to her. Beth tells her she was concerned about them bringing the baby into a happy home and assures him she doesn’t care about Paul and she wants the two of them to be okay.

4. Vince finds out
Carver ends up telling Vince about the fact he was adopted, a fact which will annoy Ellie later, and he also gives Vince the newspaper clippings about his biological family. Vince is overcome but later when Susan visitis him, he tells her to tell the police she was lying about seeing him at the beach and threatens her.

3. Kathy and Owen
Carver heard from Frank, the psychic, who told him the little girl from Rosemont has forgiven him about the pendant. He is overcome with shock and later, he gives Kathy and Owen an exclusive about what happened in Rosemont. One of the detectives found the suspect’s car and inside was a pendant that belonged to one of the girls who was killed. His fingerprints were all over it. While driving back to work, the detective stopped at a hotel to meet with her lover to celebrate. But while there, someone broke into the car and stole items including the pendant and they lost the case. Carver took the fall because it was his wife who lost the pendant and he didn’t want his daughter to know. He asks Owen and Kathy to tell the families the story first and to leave his ex-wife’s name out of things.

2. Carver’s illness
Carver’s illness, while not completel revealed to us, is revealed to Ellie and their boss. He orders Carver to give up his gun and Ellie ends up doing a bulk of the work on the case. She is exhausted and at one point when Carver asks for information on Tom and Danny’s friendship, she isn’t sure how to respond. Carver asks for Tom’s laptop, even though he already has it, and later, Ellie goes home, tired and frustrated when she can’t find it, where she asks her husband what he does when she isn’t home all day.

1. Ultrasound
While the scene is quick and short with no words, Mark and Beth are seen getting the ultrasound done of their baby. You can see the baby moving and hear its heartbeat as the parents look on, with a subdued but happy smile from Beth, and a proud look from Mark.
