Monday’s Jane The Virgin leads us into the show’s winter hiatus until Jan. 19. Petra decides to make a claim on the baby, citing an adoption contract that was put together while she was married to Rafael after their miscarriage. The drama leads to Michael helping Rafael and Jane to try and trap Petra into admitting what she really wants. But then we found out some more about Petra’s past.
Meanwhile, Xiomara is feeling defeated about her singing career after getting rejected by a record label and Rogelio is up for a best actor award. He also secretly helps Xiomara by having her idol, Paulina Rubio, come to talk to her.
Then, a shocking twist occurs when Alba gets in the middle of the situation with Petra and her mother, leading to a conclusion that we will have to wait a few weeks to find out the outcome. Just another night for our loveable characters.
Will we find out if Michael’s suspicions about who Sin Rostro is are correct? What will become of Alba? Will Xiomara and Rogelio ever get together? Guess we’ll find out in January.
Until then, here are the top ten moments from ‘Chapter Nine’ of Jane The Virgin.
