NCIS: Los Angeles started off with the three Santas running through a mall after robbing a cybersecurity that dealt with malicious software.
The man who stole a thumb drive, Billy Rex, ends up putting Callen’s own girlfriend, Joelle, in danger. Callen has to remain away from Joelle for the investigation, but when they realize Joelle has the thumb drive, Callen’s identity is revealed, leaving their relationship undetermined.
Plus, the team also is dealing with their own holiday plans. Deeks asks Kensi to go snowboarding, Nell asks Eric to come home with her for the holidays, and Sam is missing his son. At the end of the episode, fans of a certain couple got the scene they have all been waiting for, leading us toward the holiday with a heartwarming conclusion.

2. Meet you
While the team is ice skating, Callen sees Jo, who came after he sent her a message. He wants her to meet his team, who he refers to as his family. She declines, but only because she wants to meet him first and asks for his first name. Of course, this is very “complicated.”
