Despite the turmoil viewers of Lifetime’s True Tori have been seeing in Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott’s marriage every week, the mother of four says their marriage is currently in the best place it’s ever been.

Their eight-year marriage was tested when McDermott cheated last year and then checked into rehab shortly after.

Spelling told E! News their relationship is now "stronger than it's been in possibly the last eight years" so they’ve clearly come out on the other side.

She also shared their Christmas card, saying they’re in a much different place than they were last year around this time.

"We didn't really have a Christmas card last year," she said. “Dean was getting help for himself and that was really important for him to do and really important for our family during the holidays.”

She continued that this holiday season “we're back together as a family and we're working on building that family dynamic back and making it stronger than it was before.”

Their intense therapy sessions are shown on True Tori, often showing the couple struggling to communicate in a healthy way.

"Our love is stronger. We're solid. We're communicating. We're actually having a fully functional relationship,” she said, calling it a “rebirth.”

While McDermott won’t be continuing on with True Tori, Spelling says she wants to move forward without him and continue to share her life with fans.
