Max and Caroline want to create Max’s Homemade Cupcake t-shirts to sell at their shop and are out to find a factory to mass-produce them. The girls are mainly concerned with finding a factory that has ethical working conditions.

Max’s big concern with ethical working conditions goes all the way back to her traumatizing past experiences. She describes all the factories she worked at and claims the worst factory of all was The Cheesecake Factory. They narrow down their search to three and visit the most promising one first.

Meanwhile, Han decides to upgrade the diners ordering methods by purchasing iPads to use instead. He calls a training meeting with Earl, Oleg, Caroline and Max, but the group ends up making fun of him and hiding their iPads instead.

At the factory, they notice the employees are suspiciously enthusiastic about their jobs making Max question the actual working conditions. Meanwhile, free gelato and a fancy prosciutto cart distract Caroline.

Despite the questionable behaviors, Max and Caroline decide to go with this Factory, but are again concerned about the conditions when they receive a note in the delivery package that reads, “help us.” The two decide to meet up with some guys they met at the factory to interrogate them about the true conditions, but have no luck getting any answers. Instead they run into two women from the factory that think they are out to steal their men. After escaping them, they head back to the factory the next day disguised as employees only to run into the two women once more and get into a soggy wet t-shirt battle.

The owner of the factory has to break up the fight and confronts Max and Caroline about sneaking into his factory. We then learn the rest of the note in the package read, “help your business.” The factory was in fact operating under ethical working conditions and the employees actually were that enthusiastic about their jobs. In the end Max’s Homemade Cupcakes found a factory to mass-produce t-shirts for their loyal fans.
