Amanda Bynes won’t be charged with a DUI stemming from her September arrest when she blew a red light and stopped in the middle of an intersection, but she might get a probation violation.

At the time of Bynes’ arrest several months back, she was still on probation for her 2012 DUI charge. She was believed to be under the influence of an unknown substance.

According to TMZ, she tested positive for Adderall but she had a very low dosage in her system at the time of arrest.

City Attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan told Daily News, “There was not enough evidence to provide a likelihood of conviction if filed.”

They handed the case over to the Los Angeles County District Attorney as a potential violation of her probation, which might result in jail time if a judge decides to revoke her probation.

Considering her past mental issues, a judge will likely send her to get more treatment instead.
