Despite the several stand-up shows he’s performed this month, Bill Cosby postponed his appearance in Charlotte, NC.
According to Fox News, the 77-year-old comedian postponed the performance that was set to appear on Feb. 22 at the Belk Theater.
In a statement from National Artists, the company said that scheduling conflicts led to the postponement and Cosby “will be back soon to raise the roof with laughter.”
The comedian recently has been the topic of discussion revolving over 15 women who have claimed that Cosby drugged and sexually abused them.
These claims have come from noticeable people in the movie industry including Janice Dickinson and Beverly Johnson. Recently, The Cosby Show’s son, Malcom-Jamal Warner, spoke out about how his television dad saying, ““The Bill Cosby I know has been great to me and great for a lot of people. What he's done for comedy and television has been legendary and history-making. What he's done for the black community and education has been invaluable. That's the Bill Cosby I know. I can't speak on the other stuff."
