Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds welcomed their first child a bit earlier than expected, but the first-time mom is doing well regardless.
In her first post-baby interview, the Age of Adaline star, 27, seems elated at becoming a mother.
“This is the happiest time in my life, and I could say that every day," she told People. "I often feel like, 'I can't believe I'm experiencing this.'"
Lively, who’s the youngest of five siblings, has expressed her desire to have a big family on many occasions.
She admitted she’s always had a maternal instinct and “always felt like a mama" so "I don't feel like it's a massive change.”
Lively and Reynolds haven’t revealed any details on their bundle of joy, but sources say they welcomed a baby girl.
Page Six reported a Twitter user claiming to be a nurse at the hospital where Lively gave birth tweeted she gave birth to a baby girl named Violet.
"I do want to just enjoy this moment," she continued. "But I also feel like my first child is going to be the oldest sibling to the next kid, and that may change with each and every year. I'm looking forward to how one baby influences the other, and to my family as a whole, to every single chapter."
