Britain’s Prince Andrew made his first public appearance Thursday since sex allegations that a 17-year-old girl was forced to have sex with him, surfaced earlier this month.

The Duke of York is in Davos, Switzerland, to host a reception at the World Economic Forum and according to Reuters, a royal source said he may briefly address the allegations.

As previously noted, the prince, along with high-powered U.S. attorney Alan Dershowitz, were named in court documents by Virginia Roberts. The now 30-year-old claimed that she was forced to have sex with the men and others, when she was 17 while under the control of financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Although the lawsuit is mainly focused on Epstein, Buckingham Palace has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing by the prince and Dershowitz recently filed a defamation suit against Roberts.

Some media outlets in the U.K. have reported that the Florida woman is writing a “tell-all memoir” that she intends to have published later this year.
