Actors Norman Reedus, Rowan Atkinson and television personality Julie Chen are celebrating their birthdays today, January 6.

Norman Reedus, 46

Film and television actor and model Norman Reedus turns 46 today. Reedus has had roles in the films Mimic, Six Ways to Sunday, Deuces Wild, Blade II, 8mm and American Gangster. Reedus played Murphy MacManus in the 1999 film The Boondock Saints and reprised his role for the 2009 sequel The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day.

In television, Reedus had appearances on Charmed, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Hawaii Five-0. Reedus has modeled for Prada, Alessandro Dell'Acqua, Durban and Levi's. He has appeared in numerous music videos including "Flat Top" by Goo Goo Dolls, "Strange Currencies" by R.E.M., "Fake Plastic Trees" by Radiohead, "Violently Happy" by Björk, and "Judas" by Lady Gaga.

Reedus is also a painter, sculptor and photographer who currently shows his artwork in galleries in New York, Berlin, and Frankfurt. He released a book of photography in October 2013 titled The Sun's Coming Up... Like A Big Bald Head.

In 2010, Reedus took on the role of Daryl Dixon in the AMC series The Walking Dead. The character was not originally in the comic book series, but was created specifically for Reedus after his original audition for the character of Merle Dixon.

Reedus has a son from a previous relationship with model Helena Christensen.

Rowan Atkinson, 60

Actor, comedian and screenwriter Rowan Atkinson turns 60 today. Atkinson gained fame with his role in the sketch comedy show Not the Nine O'Clock News from 1979 to 1882. He went on to take the lead role in the medieval sitcom The Black Adder in 1983 and reprised his role for Blackadder II, Blackadder the Third, Blackadder's Christmas Carol, Blackadder: The Cavalier Years and Blackadder: Back & Forth.

From 1990 to 1995, Atkinson was better known as Mr. Bean. The television series gave Atkinson worldwide fame. Atkinson appeared at the 2012 Summer Olympics opening ceremony as Mr. Bean in a comedy sketch during a performance of "Chariots of Fire," playing a repeated single note on synthesiser. Atkinson retired the character of Mr. Bean in November of that year.

Atkinson has also appeared in numerous films including Never Say Never Again, Dead on Time, The Tall Guy, Four Weddings and a Funeral, The Lion King, Rat Race, Scooby-Doo, Love Actually and Johnny English.

Atkinson has two children from his previous marriage to make-up artist Sunetra Sastry.

Julie Chen, 45

Television personality, news anchor and producer for CBS Julie Chen turns 45 today. Chen started as an intern for CBS Morning News alongside Andy Cohen in 1990. She later worked for ABC NewsOne for one season as a desk assistant and was promoted to work as a producer for the next three years. She later moved to Dayton, Ohio to work as a news anchor for WDTN-TV from 1995 to 1997.

From 1999 to 2002, Chen was the anchor for CBS Morning News and news anchor for CBS This Morning and later The Early Show alongside Bryant Gumbel, Jane Clayson, Hannah Storm, Harry Smith, Maggie Rodriguez, Erica Hill, and Rene Syler.

Since 2000, Chen has been the host of the American version of Big Brother.

Chen is the moderator of the CBS daytime talk show The Talk which premiered in October 2010. Chen co-hosts the show alongside Aisha Tyler, Sharon Osbourne, Sara Gilbert and Sheryl Underwood. Former co-hosts include Marissa Jaret Winokur, Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete.

Chen is married to President and Chief Executive Officer of CBS Corporation Leslie Moonves.
