After tweeting then deleting his explosive rant about Kim Kardashian, Charlie Sheen has taken to Twitter to apologize for his temper.

The Anger Management star even offered up the hashtag “#ShutUpSheen” and admitted he was angry about something unrelated to her when he sent out harsh words.

“Dear Kim, my extreme bad. really embarrassed by my actions. I was already pissed about some other crap that had nothing to do with you,” he wrote. “I heard a story that bothered me. wrote some trash you didn't deserve. Ever. I'm an idiot as often as I'm a genius. that day, clearly I was the former. xox c #ShutUpSheen.”

The story he’s referring to is from his friend C. Thomas Howell, who told him that Kardashian refused to sign a 6-year-old girl’s autograph in a parking lot.

He called her famous backside “gross and giggly” and told her husband Kanye West he hopes his “vision returns one day.”

Sheen told TMZ he actually wrote the rant a month ago but sent out the tweet on accident on Tuesday morning. He did seem to stand by his comments, saying of Kardashian, "Zero gratitude, zero awareness, zero talent, a pox on the face of entertainment she is!"
